Israel-based company, StoreDot, has established a battery that can charge a smartphone only in 30 seconds, and possibly will be topped up to charge an electric car within minutes. In principle, its an electrode cum capacitor called a multi-function electrode. It performs as a super capacitor at one end, super charging in a substance of seconds and a low, slow discharge electrode at the additional end.
